It's that time of year again. Spring Break!!! Last year at this time, we were heading out to Delaware to see my grandson for the first time. It was an exciting time. This year, not so much. BS14 and BS12 are going with BF to their family lake house. I'm really excited for them. They will have a blast.

SD9 will be coming to our house for the week and DH has done nothing to plan for it. I know he expects me to plan his week with her and to make sure she will be entertained but I hate to say that is not going to happen.

And to top it all off, I found out one of my favorite bands is playing at a festival 45 miles from us this weekend. I've been wanting to see them perform forever. I texted DH about it - no response. When I asked about it again, the response was "well I'm not a fan and I thought you knew that." Really? How many sci-fi movies have I gone to see with him? Not because I'm a fan, but because I want to spend time with him. Good grief. Oh well, just another reason to play the "you two are on your own" game this week and enjoy some me time.
