I have a new (secret) nickname for my 7-year-old step-son, who, along with his 10-year-old sister, lives with us half the week. Lil' Backstabber. Here's what Lil' Backstabber did this morning:

He *cried* to his dad that "(Nope) doesn't love me the same as (sd10) because (Nope) is letting (sd10) stay home from day camp today but not me."
My DDDDDDH totally fell for it and started a text argument about it. So I informed Mister Gullible that Lil' Backstabber is just doing what Lil' Backstabber does best: convincing Daddy that Nope is MEAN MEAN MEAN.

Hi, I feel like I should introduce myself. I am not entirely new to this site, though I don't recognize a lot of you. I was last here around a year ago as wtff. If that doesn't ring any bells, no worries. I kind of post in bursts and then move on and focus on other areas of my life...

I'm a bio mom of 2, ages 3 and 14. My exH is the bd14's dad, and we get along really well.

Any smoms married to total dipshits?

My husband has 2 kids who live here half the week with the rest of our family. He needs lots of help finding things to do with them. So a couple of Fathers Days ago I got him a fancy set of Star Wars movies for them to watch together. It took him more than a year and some reminders from me to even open the DVD set. Finally, they have started watching them.
