Last night, my husband won the regional award for Advertiser of the Year, this is after only having worked at the agency in question for about a month and a half. The package they submitted was work he did during his first 2 weeks.

Today, he was offered a partnership with salary and full benefits.

The funny part? After pushing and pushing and pushing his boss thanked me personally for them winning this award. Why?

Because they applied past deadline, at my house at like 11 at night on a weekday, and because at the time his boss had just come from an event and he was a little drunk so, because I wanted to go to bed and I am a public affairs writer by profession, I asked him to let me type up the application and word their entrance descriptions etc.

I didn't realize that this was what I was writing the application was for until they'd won it and were holding it and fresh drinks at the table we were at during the after-party.

So not only is my hubby the best and most talented hubby ever this week.

I am also the best supportive spouse ever this week.
