Question about court documents Bm was served
As you may know, Bm was served the court paperwork last week. My question is, on the first page it says "you have 30 days to respond to the lawsuit that's been filed against you, failure to do so could result in judgement being taken against you"... for those of you that have taken Bms to court, what does that mean?

So if she doesn't respond
So if she doesn't respond they wouldnt even go to court, the judge would just grant what dh is asking?
Ah I see, that makes sense.
Ah I see, that makes sense. Thank you!
So her responding just means
So her responding just means she wants to go to court to say why she doesn't agree with what dh is requesting?
It can mean that if she
It can mean that if she doesn't reply, the judge can give you what you are requesting be changed and a new, updated order can be written & legally used.. Beware the judge that grants the poor GUBM an extension!

Oh wow, that's insane. Maybe
Oh wow, that's insane. Maybe this will be the case for dh
DH already had full custody
DH already had full custody but was granted his motion for BM to have supervised visits without her there.
The judge was going to reschedule thinking that BM hadn't been served but I had proof that she was aware of the court date b/c she was the one who told DH about it. All of their phone conversations and her VM's are recorded b/c she's just super special.
