Figuring it out

Well SS has gone straight back into his usual behaviours. This morning we were going out and as he had come back from camp with a load of washing plus his gear for camping etc to put away I told him to get his washing on and put all the gear back into the attic.

We were gone for 3 hours. Came back with something that had to go in the basement. Could not get across the basement because all his stuff was strewn across it (still not in the attic). The wash was on though. So, DH came in and asked him why he had not done as he was asked and put that stuff away.. the answer was 'I haven't figured it out yet'.   What??!  I told him that was BS and to get it done and as usual he had ignored our request.  When I went out of the room he then started to say to DH that it all had to be done so quickly and whining etc. DH told me what he said and i turned to SS and said 'quickly?? 3 hours is not enough time to take a few items up into the attic?!  What a load of c*rap!

So, when he asked to do something later on in the evening DH told him that he hadn't  'figured it out yet' . That stupid brat never learns. If it does it to us we do it back to him now, one day maybe the penny will drop. Or maybe not before he gets the boot anyways.

He is really Pi**ed off with us now. So, are we unreasonable?  using his strategies against him? he seems to think so.

So it is truly back to the usual grind of his BS.

3 HOURS and  'I haven't figured it out yet'?

Let me figure it our for you. You have 15 minutes to put your crap where it belongs. 16 minutes from now, I'll be throwing it away. Period. Dot.

indeed.  This is the crap we get from him and it never changes. Also have to say that we have tried that approach and it makes no difference. He would just do it again next time and then he wouldn't have the gear etc. He never learns, even when it affects him and he loses privileges, he is just angry with us then. I feel its a learning disability in him or just arrogance. Haven't worked that out yet.  OH!  I have to figure that out ofc Dash 1

Oh, it will make a difference if he is unable to do those activities because he has no gear. Besides, he can do chores to "buy it back". But I'm a beeyotch like that.
