SS11 called me a work the other day. He NEVER calls me at work. His litle voice on the other end of the line was so cute. He didn't even say hello. He just said (my name), Thomas's mom wants to talk to you.
So she gets on the line. She explains that everything is okay, SS11 is okay. But he got bit by her dog. The dog has all his shots, and SS11 is not even crying but she felt it necessary to let me know. Very nice. Its like she was actually treating me like a real mom.
I called BF at work just to make sure he didn't want her to take him to the doctor or something. He acted like I should have handled this by myself... like I was wasting his time. WHATEVER.
Obviously, the kid thought about me before he thought about his dad or even his mom.
So that was very sweet.
