She Said NO

So BM is supposed to have SD back for a weeks worth of time and then SD is supposed to be returned to DH for his July time. DH agreed that SD could go back early in July because BM was due at end of July. Now all of a sudden here we are days away from sending SD to her and still not a flight confirmation. (Bm is to buy this round per agreement) So DH asks her about it and she says that her doc told her that her baby could be here in less than 3 weeks so she wants to keep SD instead of sending her back and will send her at the end of July.

I really need help on this one!!!

So I had decided that I would heed all the advice that I have been given and just remove myself from the situation.

Lawyers, non step parents etc. all say to just stay out of it and let DH deal with all issues pertaining to SD.

How can you do that and be a mom? Aren't we as step moms supposed to love our step kids just like we would our own? Then if you love a child how can you be asked to put them out of your mind?

Well, I can't. Sorry but I fail at this!!!

I am such a sensitive person and so I have decided to no longer put up my "personal life" for others to see. That is sad to me because I joined this site quite some time ago and I have felt that I have been able to provide great feedback and advice to others here and never imagined that I would feel bad for doing or saying some of the things that I thought we all go through until today.

I have been super down anyway with the move and all and feeling like I am loosing me but I did think that I still had this site for my "sanity" if you will.
