That's what SO said to me after the three of us were down at the police station the other night regarding SS16. I said two things in response - first, I just saw she was upset, I didn't really notice anything else, and second, I never really thought she looked that good anyway. LOL

She does look pretty desperate, but I saw more emotional and mental strain that physical effects. Physically she looks the same as ever - pretty average. But she looks like she's losing her mind. I actually felt bad for her.

SO spoke to BM this morning. BM says that she spoke with SS and asked him what he plans to do, and asked him whether he wants to try to learn a manual trade if he doesn't want to be in school. SS said no, he wants to continue with his technical education. He's failing. But of course he wants to continue what he's doing rather than switch to something like carpentry or painting where excuses wouldn't cut it.

She also said that SS is pissed that his friends told him they don't want problems with the cops, so they don't want to be around him. Well isn't that too bad. All SS had to do was be respectful to his mother and/or his father Friday night and no cops would have been involved.

BM also said to SO again "why don't you take him." SO answered the same as he always does - "the first time he went with you, a month later you called and begged me to pick him up, and I went like an idiot and did it. Then in less than two months the two of you planned behind my back for him to run out again. Now three months later you're calling again, and I'm not going to come running again. The first time, fine. But we're not doing it again."

There was more about how SO was too hard on SS, etc. We've been over that ad nauseum - the only rule we had was do your best in school, and *all* of this is a result of SS's complete refusal to do that. His life was so easy it's ridiculous, he just didn't want to pay the price of completing assignments and studying. It's disgusting.

SO may talk to SS later today.

In the meantime, he's out, and I'm about to dye my hair.
