BM wants to pick up SS15's bed - and SO said no...

LizGrace65's picture

SO said no, SS can't come pick up his bed and the rest of the stuff he left here this weekend or next weekend.

SO didn't tell BM why - but it's because I'm having surgery at 7:30 Monday morning.

Awesome of SO to realize and enforce that I would want to relax as much as possible this weekend (beforehand), and next weekend I'll still be recovering. And awesome of him to protect my privacy about it.

BM probably thinks SO is just trying to be a dick, since he didn't tell her why.

SS knew before he walked out a month ago that I had surgery already scheduled, but he probably either doesn't remember, or doesn't know it's now. The kid seriously can't remember his own birthday at the age of 15 (is it me, or is that *so* NOT normal?!), so he's unlikely to remember when I have surgery scheduled.

I told SO that if BM gives him problems, go ahead and tell her the reason if he feels he wants to.

Anybody want to lay odds on whether BM will confront SO?

And how well does my SO handle himself?! (grin)

He's totally the bomb. I think he'll only tell her if she puts herself in a position where she'll look really bad when he does it. Which I wouldn't mind at all - since I'm so mature like that myself LOL.

I am of the school that if they left they don't have any rights to their stuff. We refuse to give SD anything since she is the one that left. I give it 6 months and then it goes to charity or one of the cousins. As for the furniture, it is mine and it will make a very nice guest bedroom. If it didn't it would be sold on Craigslist.
