Anybody else have a ringtone that changes to a sinister tone when BM calls?

I don't know how it does it but I swear DH's phone gets a different tone when BM calls. We will just be hanging around the house and his phone rings and I just get this feeling that it sounds sinister and BM is calling. I'm not always right but I am right about that more often than is normal.

Anyway, she called this week to discuss her vacation plans with SD6. She is planning to take SD to Colorado to visit with her family for 3 weeks again this summer. She informed DH that she has to get back to work by a certain date in July because that is when they want her to open the office back up and she wants to go to Niagara Falls for a few days before she goes back to work so would it be ok for her to take SD out of school for the last 4 days so they could go to Colorado earlier.

My instinct is to tell her hell no. However, we took the kids out of school for a week last fall to go to Disney World for our wedding so I don't think we have a leg to stand on here. I think the plan, as it stands now, is to talk it over with SD's teacher and see if it would present a problem. I mean really, it's kindergarten. Not that kindergarten isn't important but it's not as if she will miss exams or anything like that the last four days. Although, I am really tempted to tell her she is not allowed to take SD out of school early so she can have her 3 full weeks in Colorado then hand her off for her own vacation before she goes back to work but I also think that would be a bit bitchy of me.

Ah decisions decisions.

I know she would miss Field

I know she would miss Field Day which is always a fun day but I'm not sure about anything else yet.

I mean, is it reasonable for us to say that taking the kids out for our wedding is way different than her taking SD out of school so she gets her 3 full weeks in Colorado and still gets time off of work without SD for her own vacation?

Incidentally, we planned another trip to Disney World for this year and are going the week before school starts because we didn't want to take them out again. It will be hotter than Hades but we didn't want to get in the habit of taking them out of school for vacation every year.

PS- OP, i had some of the BEST ringtones on dumbphones!!! these smartphones are over my head. i just upgraded and still cant figure the damn thing out.

My ex husband has the theme from star wars for bm1 and the picture he has of me in his contacts is the wicked witch. It upsets our son. He has a hard time with the fact that his dad is still hostile towards me, despite the fact that he was the one that was openly abusive in front of the kids to me.

I don't use one for her since 1. She only calls my phone if its a real SS emergency since DH will not answer her calls and 2. The SS's.

Dh used to have a dog barking as his ringtone for BM. I had him remove it as it was immature and potentially hurtful for sd to hear it. Now after experiencing more of this womans crazy the dog barking was not mean enough!

I guess I should clarify. The thing about the ringtone was a joke. DH does not have a separate ringtone for BM. It is just a standard ringtone that comes on basic Samsung phones. It's just that more often than not when she calls, there is something about the tone that just sounds different to me and I somehow know it's her calling.
