Someone else recently posted about pictures, and how the BM cut them up- even ones with the skids- before giving them to the father... During the divorce, some 16 years ago, Loca BURNED all of the skids' baby photos, baby clothes, toys, etc. Anything she could ruin to get even with Loghead...

Who did she really hurt?

Over the years, I have contacted various family members of my husband's, and YES, even HER family members, to gather up old photos of the kids that they might have. I have a limited supply of pictures of my SSs because they were so little during the time of the voice. Loghead was in survival mode and wasn't really thinking about preserving memories of the kids, but actually preserving them!

I got a scanner for Christmas that can scan negatives and save them onto a computer card. In storage, we had ONE box full of negatives that my husband managed to get away from her before she really went crazy. (He used to send his parents over to the house when he was at work and knew she was out so they could gather things and collect them for safe keeping...) We have had a blast these last few days scanning them in and seeing all these photos he hasn't seen in 16 years. The skids don't know we are doing this and we plan to surprise them later this spring with baby books of photos of themselves that they have never seen!

And I guess I am too much of a family historian and photo addict to leave it at that... There's some pictures of HER grandparents with the skids, and they have passed on... I plan to make copies of one or two of the photos to give her. But I'll be damned if I give them to her on a disk and then see them all over FB!
