I am SO GLAD this site is back up. Loghead was noticing how grumpy and fussy I was getting. LOL

Things have been pretty good:
1. Princess had her prom. She looked beautiful, and wore the borrowed dress. Our only expense was $3 for a pair of flip flops I decorated for her as a joke. Loca Grande (bio-mom) also came along for the afternoon of hair and make-up. Let's just say we both left still in one piece. She probably ran off for a smoke, and I went and got fries!

2. Loghead got a teaching job for next fall. It's about a 50 minute drive from home, and almost the same as what he was making. His part time job is VERY labor intensive, but he loves it, so we'll get by this summer.

3. Princess graduates Saturday. Everyone is coming. Even her bio-mom and bio-grandma, but again, I'm okay with that. I know in the end, that makes me the bigger person, and maybe Princess can learn a life lesson from that.

4. Princess loved Chicago on her senior trip. Yes, we paid the money that Loca Grande promised to pay us back for. No, we haven't seen that money yet. Probably never will, and I can deal with that too... Maybe Princess will learn a life lesson from that too.

5. The skids went to their mother's for Mother's Day. They found her secret stash of recreational drugs and have all claimed they never want to go back to her house again.

6. Loghead and I have had 2 dates since I last blogged. We've been doing lots of little things around the house together to get things ready for the grad party.

7. My shrink told me to quit wasting my money. She says I'm actually at a healthy place, and she can see that by blogging, I am learning to put things into perspective better.

8. Honors Assembly on Monday for Gibby, and for the first time ever, he will be awarded a school honor! His reading scores came back, and he's reading at a 3rd grade level!

All in all not too bad...
