Thanks, ladies and gents. Once again, I cooled off, like you all suggested. Here's what happened on two accounts:

1. PITA 16 contacted Loca Grande today for her birthday. just "hi" by text, but that was enough. And it wasn't cause Loghead or I reminded him. GIBBY DID. LOL He was fussing on his older skid-bro, saying, "I know it's ____ birthday. She's your mom. Text her." FROM a 9 YEAR OLD!!!

2. Didn't say anything to Loghead about a VERY inappropriate photo on Princess's phone I saw about 2 weeks ago. Instead, HE FOUND IT. OMG, that image of his sweet, innocent girl must be burned in his brain! Over Thanksgiving weekend, Lazy Boye and Princess swapped phones, and I guess she didn't delete anything. So, yes, that's right. Her own 15 year old brother was walking around with pics of his half-naked sister on his phone... Anyway, due to a phone mishap at our house yesterday, Loghead had to borrow Lazy Boye's phone. He found the picture. He brought it to me, and showed me. "Is this her? Is that the bed in that room? Please tell me you did not buy her that underwear?!"

Needless to say, she received a VERY unpleasant phone call from her father last night.

As for the skipped classes, she fessed up to that too over the holiday. Apparently she might even have to take that class again...

I do love when they dig their own holes! Sometimes I have to be reminded to step back and let it happen on its own...
