OT - JELLO SHOTS!
I'm sure we all need them! T.G.I.F.F!! Yea that extra F in there.
I got a craving for jello shots..I've never made them - anyone have some good suggestions..the only alcohol I have at home right now is Pinot Grigio (which I won't use)..and some 80proof Jamaican Rum.

Strawberry Daiquiri Jell-O Shot
3 oz. package wild strawberry Jell-O
8 oz. (1 cup) Boiling water
6 oz. white rum
1 oz. sweet and sour or Margarita mix
However my personal Fav is
Sex on the Beach Jell-O Shot
3 oz. package orange Jell-O
8 oz. (1 cup) boiling cranberry juice
3 oz. peach schnapps
5 oz. vodka

is excellent for jello shots! Yummo!! I think I need to make some this weekend too. However, it probably won't be this evening - we're heading to the local Italian Fest celebration and it'll be beer & wine tonight and lots of it - I just found out my MIL is going to go too - yippee!

This Italian fest is a blast - I used to volunteer until my leg problem sidelined me, but I still attend every year. Once in a while they have decent entertainment - one year it was the Dixie Chicks right when they hit it big - remember the 80's band Kansas? They're going to be playing tonight & I'll be right there, a beer in each hand and dancing on the picnic tables!!!

I find it amusing that SD17 LOVES mine & DH's music! She's into Bryan Adams, Aerosmith & all the "old" bands - I love when we're in the SUV with her & DH & I start singing with the radio - she about freaks that we KNOW the lyrics lol!

until i get to Jamaica for our wedding! Because then for 8 days thats all i will be drinking!! I wish there was an Italian fest where i live!! Unfortunately, i live in whits trash ville, so no ones around this weekend because they are all at the river getting drunk and wearing beads and pasties.

the 21 through the 29th!! I cant wait! NO bm, mil, or ss. Just me and my Hubby!! and it was even his choice, he said this day is about our love for each other and nothing else, and he didnt want me to have to share my (our) day with any one else. We got a suite with a butler, and i cant wait to be waited on hand and foot!!

I have to be on location all weekend doing shoots, but come Monday now that i wont have ss, ill be sitting in our beach entrance pool with a floating cooler of jello shots!! lol
jello shots are delicious!
I use Captain Morgan's Parrot Bay Coconut Rum and strawberry jello. It makes the shots sweet so everyone has like 6 before they realize how "impaired" they are }:)
