We are still waiting for the final papers from the lawyers on giving up custody of SD14. I wish there was a way to make this go faster. If she fights this DH is going to go for full Custody of both kids. I don't want him to, because I don't want to spend that kind of money. He will pay for it, but then complain for months that his savings is depleted. Also, if we win which we could, do we really want an angry 14 year old in the house daily. 50/50 is hard enough. He did tell me when we talked about summer plans for BS15 and SS11 that if she was still here, she was grounded for the summer. He was sticking to it. I asked if there is an end date to the grounding. He said no. Just an attitude change. That girl is going to be miserable here.

If she just apologized to her dad for the lying and maniplating, then I think he would be more lenient. She deserves what she is getting But, I think she is just biding her time until she can be at mom's and away from her dad and his rules. I am done with her, and he appears to be too. Now if mom just signs the papers and agrees to what he is asking for with regards to CS and SS11, then we can all move on with our lives. We can't make plans at all because we don't know if we buy tickets for four or five.

My family thinks he is making a mistake with the time restraint that she can't come here to live for a full year. They think she needs to be able to make the mistake and come home. Hell no. She needs to understand that she made her bed and she needs to lie in it. Mom's house looks so good, you can stay there.

I just am tired of waiting for the phone call from BM when she sees the document he wants her to sign. She is going to flip when she realizes that she is possibly giving up custody of SS11 if he says he doesn't want to live there. She can't do anything about it. I can't imagine her signing that. What BM would sacrifice one child for another? Just because one child doesn't want rules and wants to date. Unbelievable.
