Last Night

jojo68's picture

BF daughter had a friend to sleep over last night...sweet little girl..very polite. Late last night when we were asleep, I guess they got up and decided to get things from the fridge...cabinet...wherever and mix things together in pots. It looked like my kitchen had exploded this morning and it actually looked like they had attempted to clean it up some so I can't imagine what it looked like before they did that. They had gotten in to my spices and probably emptied $25 worth of spices...coffee grounds were everywhere...cool aid mix...everything they could find I guess. All my kitchen towels that were out are missing :? Crazy...can this child possible be this bored to do some off the wall crap like this or what? I could understand if they got up and tried to make cookies or something, but to just put random things together just to make a mess. I guess I don't get it.

lol...no I don't blame the friend. I can promise BF daughter was behind it because I had problems of a similiar sort in a few times and it is all BF daughter idea. And she DOES tear up her closets and drawers and drip nail polish everywhere and just drop gum whereever she is.....gets marker and nail polish all over her clothes and bedding. What is really weird is she seems to thrive in a mess.....It is crazy stuff I tell ya...LOL

I dunno what happened...I cleaned the dishes up before I left for work because dirty dishes are nasty and I won't have dirty dishes in the sink all day but I left for work before they got up. My guess is he did nothing and cleaned it up himself.

LOL...if we had a garage, she would rule that too and it would be a damn mess. My boys were messy little guys and I had to threaten, bribe and beg them to clean their rooms but my daughter when she got to be about 8-9 or so she liked a clean room and she hated a mess...she would get so mad at the boys for going in her room and messing it up...that is why I am not getting this messy, messy little girl. I honestly think she likes a mess and cleanliness makes her uncomfortable.

Wow! How old is she?

Maybe look into putting locks on your pantries, if she's small enough that that would work. It isn't even just the mess I would be concerned about - messes can be cleaned (and add me to the list that hopes you had her do the cleaning, or at least most of it) but the food waste is what would get to me.

If she ruins her own things, too, don't replace them. -shrug- If she wants to destroy her belongings she can learn that they aren't just magically replaced.

Unfortunately she has been raised with no consequences to her actions. I have never seen in the almost 3 years I have been with her father her really get into trouble for anything...not even stealing from a now ex-friend of hers.
