Dropped off with no school supplies
So after BM messaged us unnecessarily earlier this week to confirm we'd be doing the already planned usual schedule and dropping SD off in the morning for school Monday - she drops SD off without her backpack or any other school things. *eyeroll*
I'm sure that was an accident.

A mistake - or she wants you
A mistake - or she wants you guys to be unable to help her with homework so DH looks bad to the school.
Yeah I was assuming it was
Yeah I was assuming it was either to make us look bad or so that we had to contact her about it and she'd get a little thrill out of upsetting us (she didn't). Just gonna let her teacher know mom forgot to send her backpack with this weekend.
Brilliant! :)
Brilliant!
:)
I would not contact BM..and
I would not contact BM..and yes I would email the teacher or call her.
On top of that does BM really think she can ignore the backpack sitting at her house all weekend long? What a dip s****
She should call dh and say HEY sorry, I will drop it off and leave it on the porch.
SHE is the one who looks bad not dh.
*when and IF bm brings it up--I would say..oh we just figured you would drop it off at school since you forgot it.*
sorry about all this OP----I understand how this stuff feels.
Yeah we're definitely not
Yeah we're definitely not contacting her. She did this before by "forgetting" to send a folder that she needed and after a few days of us not acknowledging that she finally brought it to the school. So idk why she's even trying but I guess she's running out of tactics.
It does make her look incredibly stupid.
Your SD is also old enough to
Your SD is also old enough to be responsible for her school stuff and ask BM herself to bring it over. Isn't she 8 or 9?
Yeah she's 9.5. She'll be in
Yeah she's 9.5. She'll be in middle school next year ffs. She seemed confused when I asked about her backpack and I said well aren't you going to school Monday and she said she didn't know. She has been emailing BM since she got here so i guess she could tell her she needs her backpack
I'd say DH should let SD know
I'd say DH should let SD know that it's on her to get her backpack from BM's in time for school Monday, and any homework she doesn't do is also on her.
My 5 yr old with global developmental and speech delay
Even knows what goes in her schoolbag and helps pack it. A 9 yr old should be independent enough to pack herself and not blame dipshit biomum trying to stick it to daddy
