I expect them to keep their word
What a complete @#$O*%(*>! I am for expecting people in this house, DH and all the kids including DS, to do what they agreed to or said they would do. I get huge sighs, eye rolls, and excuses. "It's so stressful you *always* on me about this."
For your information, person-who-is-not-doing-what-you-said-you-would-do, I am not always asking, I haven't asked in a while, I queried you nicely, it wasn't until you got all huffy that the conversation went south, and if you had just done the-thing-you-agreed-to then it wouldn't come up. I'm not asking about small things, these are bigger deal things. And walking away from me while I'm talking (not yelling, talking, not being over the top, talking) is just plain disrespectful.
But *I* am the problem.
Maybe it's time to take a page out of their books. I won't do what I say or agree to. I will walk away while people talk to me. I will huff and bitch and excuse myself when asked about something. Seems to be the etiquette here.
