So freaking pissed......
So DH gets an email from lawyer's office today that BM lawyer has requested that the case be continued again. WHAT IN THE HELL?!?!?!?!?
My guess they know they do not have a case and that she will more than likely lose custody - and requested to have it continued again.
DH has called the lawyer and is going to ask for an emergency hearing or motion to be filed. This foolish and abuse can not be allowed to continue until 9 September now.
I can not believe she filed all this crap against us about abuse and this is the third time she is having the case continued.
It is so freaking upsetting to us. You can look back over my blog and see all the stuff this BM has pulled and alledged. Now she goes and has the case continued again.
We are not going for that at all..... We are sick and tired of the emotional abuse to SD and all the PAS going on. Something has got to be done before 9 September.

I can total empathy with you
We have been fighting our BM since last Sept and haven't even seen the court room yet. Delays have been only 2 times for DH...One when he hired the attorney and the 2nd to get a new GAL. That kind of backfired because she is siding the BM because she believes all the lies she tells. All the other delays since Jan have been the attorney's themselves. It has been a total joke...on us! 16k in attorney's fees is a bit much and we are hoping that this next scheduled date this month isn't going to be delayed because of someone's dog has died!
BM keeps telling the kids that DH is taking her to court and she is the one that filed as well stating "physical and psychological" abuse. Hello?? She is also the PAS Queen and 2 of the 3 have finally figured her out.
I told DH petal to the metal and no looking back. I told him I don't want him to have any regrets and maybe she will finally crawl out of the hole she came from.
Karma should be coming around!

The woman needs to either put up or shut up. If she's the one who brought the charges then she should be more than prepared to take this to court without continuance after continuance. I hope you guys are going to make her pay your legal bill if she loses this case.

We have a call into the lawyer for an emergency hearing. To try and get something heard before the summer is over.

Colorado girl has a similar problem....the judge keeps continuing her hearings even though the jackass father of her son cant seem to show up for any of the hearings....Are you in Colorado?????

We live in VA - but SD and BM live in North Carolina.
She filed the charges against us. She claims we abuse sd to the point where she hides clothes to keep from coming, has nightmares, is afraid and is hysterical when she has to get in the car with DH, claims I hit SD, claims DH spends no time with her when she comes for a visit, and a bunch of other things have happened (you can see back in my blog).
Now that her lawyer probably has the counselor notes and sees that her client is lying and the notes really hurt her - they want to continue the dang case.
If you believe your child is being so abused - why keep continuing the case.
When she filed her affidavit in January - she alledged abuse again and tried to get an emergency hearing. But it didn't happen. Now she keeps continuing the case.
I am pissed. We have called and emailed the lawyer and his paralegal. They need to explain to us how the case got continued and tell us how they are going to get us a emergency hearing. We will not continue to stand for this emotional abuse and mental abuse. SD needs to be the heck out of there now.
This continuance just gives BM more time to go back to the drawing board and claim more abuse - this time it will be sexual in nature - cause she has tried every thing else and it has not worked. Now she has 2 more months to pull her crap and PAS tatics.
