Its been a week but I see progress...

So, it has been a week since I spoke to fiance and things have definitely taken a turn for the better...To start off, my house is CLEAN!!! OMG! And the skids were home Monday & Tuesday. This is a first for me because usually I get home and have to clean up the dining table or mop the floors cause they spilled stuff everywhere. We have also spoken to them about the new rules and we told them that when my BD was home this weekend, we would be discussing all the new house rules.

So far, its going good...I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the house stays clean.

Biodaughter refusing to see her stepmother...

I'm in a bit of a situation now. My BD, who is 8 1/2, does not want to see her stepmother. I have full custody and her dad sees her twice a month (maybe) for 3 or 4 hours...Initially, she was able to stay at their house on Friday nights when he was going to see her but after his fiance refused to stop bathing her, straightening her hair and finally waxing her arms, I put the breaks on it. Mind you, she was 6, almost 7 when all of this was going on.

Finally laid it all out...

This is my first blog post...After all these years of suffering in silence (not completely silence but not voicing all my concerns), I finally laid it all out on the table for my Fiance. The past two days have felt like a huge black hole and now, I feel some relief. I did so much reading about step families / blended families and everywhere I turn it says to RUN...Run as fast as you can. But I have invested too much of my love, time, energy and money into this relationship to not give it a chance.
