surprise hair cuts

So the kids came back on Tuesday and my stepdaughter who is 9, was allowed to cut her own hair. She cut it uneven and short . It looks terrible.

Our wedding is coming up in 8 weeks, and i had planned on her having her hair up, which she knew about. I have been including them in wedding talk, they are very excited. I just cant shake the feeling, Im so upset, why on earth did her mother let her cut her own hair? Who does that!!!!

Is it possible to nacho parent - if you play a big role in their life ? Do you think it then means you don't love and care for them or it's just a way of coping ? 
And last one ... is it hard to retrain your brain to step back ?

The step kids are back and so are those feelings.

I use the time that they arent with us to have positive thoughts of nice things I can do , or cook for them when they come back, but it just turns to shit!

Its nothing inparticular, again, but just the headnoise. I just wish I could switch it off.

Does anyone else feel like they need anti depressants, on the time they have them? Just to be able to relax and switch off?

My partner is very supportive and listens to me when I blurt out my feelings, which just makes me feel even more guilty afterwards. 

Anyone else feel Claustrophobic?????

Is it just me or do you sometimes feel claustrophobic when the step kids come? Like you dont wont to wake up in the morning and face it , or come home after work and walk through the door?

And its not because the step kids are doing anything inparticular, just that its your space and you feel like you cant think or breathe!
