What happens when your bios move out?
Anyone else have that though of what will happen when your bios move out? I literally sat in the driveway today debating rather or not to go in the house. The only reason I stay was because my 16 year old son was inside. So what happens when my all my bios move out?

My bio doesn't live with us
My bio doesn't live with us so I really can't answer that question. To be honest, if the only reason you're staying is because of your bio, you shouldn't be there. That is the saddest thing people do...stay for the child/ren. It rarely works and children can feel when you're unhappy.
I think you need to think really hard about what you want and what makes you happy - and then go do that. Take care of yourself.
OMG the oldest bio is out,
OMG the oldest bio is out, doing great. It is rather wonderful actually. I am looking forward to an empty nest, it will be a little awhile. (skids not included with this as there is zero contact)
Now in contrast, one of my dear friends of many many years did not deal well with her bio's and HIS bio's leaving. I could not relate to that so I just listened to her. They have a decent marriage to. SHE was bawling and afraid of what her life would become.
I suppose it depends on what your plans are with the husband. Our plans are traveling more then we already do, which is more than many of our friends.
Please consider what YOU want in your life and where your see yourself in a few years. Life is very short. We tend to take it for granted and poof 5, 10 years zoom by.
I know what you're saying. I
I know what you're saying. I used to think that when my bio left it would be harder to deal with the skids. I figured at that point I'd be foot loose and fancy free and resent being tied down by his kids.
To be honest, the first few months after she went to college were an adjustment. But I think that had to do more with missing her than the skids. But actually I think I've gotten closer to the skids now. Before I was always really focused on my bio, you know? So it may not be as bad as you think.
