So FDH goes into the hospital today to pre-register or whatever for his surgery that's supposed to be on Monday. Registration has no information for him, so send him up to the GI clinic to figure out what's going on. Turns out the surgeon who is supposed to perform his surgery won't even be in town; in fact he's flying out *that* morning at 1 am! However, between the time when his surgery got moved up yesterday and then cancelled today, the original June 6th date is no longer an option - the ER for that date/time has already been re-scheduled for someone else. Freakin' seriously!!!!!!!! Now, the earliest they can get him in is June 27th. Hello? His doctor knows (though probably has forgotten) that I'll be in the hospital at that time . . . um . . . having a baby! I *HATE* army hospitals!!! FDH has been going back and forth w/ them all morning, and at least they're now trying to work with other hospitals and the university hospital in the area to see if maybe he can get in there. *sigh* Stupid not-being-able-to-drink-while-pregnant.
