Ode to 15

Devil has been 15 for just about 2 months and I'm already praying for 16. Please tell me that 16 is better. Please tell me that my own two aren't going to be this insufferable at 15. Devil is the oldest and if I have to go through this three more times, someone might end up locked up. My friends IRL and I have a theory that any age evenly divisible by 3 is bad so maybe it is just for the year, right?

I called it.

I can't say "I told you so" at home so I'm going to say it here.

Last summer SO and Princess hammered out a deal where he'd have the whole summer in exchange for her getting what she wanted. I told him then that we'd never have his girls all summer. In January when she said we'd only get 4 weeks, I didn't say "I told you so" - I said "You're not going to get that. When she gets done you'll be lucky to have three weeks."

Emotional Support

I just need to vent. BM (Princess) calls this morning - several times - until SO finally calls her back. She doesn't generally call and by the time she'd called the third time we figured something was wrong (he was in the shower and I wasn't about to answer his cell and talk to her).

What was the crisis? What horrible tragedy had befallen her that required SO's attention RIGHT NOW?

Her DH was downsized out of a job. And somehow we're supposed to care about this?
