So having the day from hell...Work is ridiculous...I'm tired, aggravated, and just want to get the hell out of here. DH calls me to tell me how my day is going so i shut my office door and tell him....Of course he calms me (he always does) so the stress level goes down. So I tell Dh I really do not feel like cooking (DH has no clue about cooking) So i tell him when i leave work take BS and SD and meet me at Applebee's, way to tired for cooking and don't know what time I am getting out of here....So DH says no problem.

I get a call a few minutes ago...What do you think about?

DRAMA!!!!!! SD16 is having major anxiety, had a fight with BM, can not possibly go out, wants "daddy" to stay home with her and just order in...BLAH BLAH FUCKIN BLAH!!!!!

My response..."Thats fine see you when i get home"

Called parents asked if they want to go for dinner with me and BS, they said yes...Asked can you pick up BS and meet me, they agreed...Now DH can stay home with DRAMA QUEEN...

Called DH told him, he was a little upset but said OK that might be good i can have some time with SD16 and calm her down...GOOD HAVE TIME!!!! MF I HATE THIS KID!!!! Is it Friday yet!!!!

OMG what a bitch...does he not see through her antics? Why on earth does he play/cater to her drama and nonsense??? This is insane! and holy crap is my sd going to call bf 'deeeeeaaaaaadddddeeeeee"at 16 too?

She (11) did it SO bad the other day-ALL I could think of was this site and the times we talk about these misfit drama queens with their 'daaaaaaaddddddyyyyyy" talk...I wish I could have recorded that shit for you all to hear....it was ENTIRELY exaggerated, drawn out and spoken in a 2yr olds voice. :sick:

So, her anxiety is more urgent than yours? Even though the plans were already set? We would have gone out and told ss he could stay home and we would bring something back fr him if he wasn't up to it. But I am pretty sure dh is even more fed up with the kid than I could ever be at this point.

You totally did the right thing. If he wants to stay at home with the drama queen, that's HIS problem to handle. You still deserve to go out and do whatever you need to do to decompress after a shitty day. You go, girl.

16 years old. You can stay home by yourself. Dads going to dinner. Sorry if you don't want to join us. Oh, do not call unless the house is on fire, there's a lot of blood or bone sticking out.

^This is what he should have said. He already made plans with you. He knew you were having a bad day, knew you needed a dinner out to decompress, but dropped you like a rock when she snapped her fingers. More than likely, her "anxiety" was caused by him telling her that you needed a dinner out. She played him.

Oh hell no! Enjoy your dinner out with the sane part of your family!! Maybe stay a little longer than necessary, and hopefully the Brat Princess will be in bed by the time you get home. I'm sure I'm in for this...right now my sd is 6, and is constantly interrupting and flinging herself between dh & I. I always look at dh when she makes her demands and say, "DADDY, I want a party. I want a party right NOW!" in Veruca Salt's voice. I don't think he gets it, but I get a kick out of myself.

Ugggg your SD is more annoying than my SD15. It would drive me insane if my SD was always having anxiety attacks!! Good for you for still going out to dinner! And you will probably enjoy it more without the pain in the ass at the table!! I hate going to dinner with SD15. She stares at my food, stares at me while I eat it and when she thinks I am not looking she steals food off my plate. Geez I can't even get up to go to the bathroom because I won't eat again thinking her grubby hands touched my food!!

Enjoy! I'm jealous because I didn't feel like cooking but now we are all screwed!!
