So Budweiser wrote this commerical for step dads for Father's Day and while I appreciate the 'sentiment' we would never see anything like this for Mother's Day. Never.

All Dads are deadbeats dontchaknow? The only real fathers are the men married to BM - biological link not a necessity.

Exactly, even if SKs could bring themselves to feel this way about a SM, most would NEVER express it for fear of angering BM. I wonder how many of these SKs in the commercial had a LOVING FATHER who WANTED to be part of their lives but got pushed out by BM? The BM in our case definitely wanted to pretend that her new DH was SSs' father and exclude DH because it made it so much easier for her and she could pretend like she had a happy nuclear family.

Well, that's just because a stepmothers thanks is getting to have these wonderful children in our lives. We should all just be grateful for that "privilege."
