When I got home from work on Friday I talked to DH about the headlice thing and told him some of my thoughts on it. I included some of the advice that I got from you guys (THANK YOU)! Any way, he ended up calling BM and telling her that she needed to go to the pharmacy and pick up some lice shampoo and bring it over to our house. After some argument she did it. When she got there we invited her in the house to "educate" her on what headlice looks like, etc. since she claimed that she looked "a dozen times and didnt see a thing".

She, of course, came into my home with guns blazing saying that the lice didnt come from her house and maybe it was OUR fault for not telling the softball coach that SD had lice...DH IS the softball coach you idiot!!! Anyway I kept my cool the whole time and even went as far as to tell her "not to feel bad that she didnt catch it" and "lots of kids get it..we arent blaming you". YUCK! That was sooooooooo hard for me to do!

Im not sure it will change anything but at least she was accountable for not treating it and can no longer use ignorance as an excuse!!!
