...after getting caught, for the millionth time, trying to sneak PS4 time after bed time?

SS15!!!

I did tell him about two weeks ago that if I caught him again, his butt would be scrubbing like Cinderella. He laughed...but he won't be this week. I follow through with what I say and he will be one very busy little 'I will do whatever I want' teenager.

I also said I would take the debit card information off of his account. Done. Find a way to pay for your online account now, buddy. He was warned and warned and warned.

He is all about not doing work. So I have found that his currency for listening comes in the form of labour. If it is easier to listen and do what he's supposed to versus being rebellious, he changes. So going to bed and going to sleep will now be a lot easier than cleaning the entire house to my satisfaction.

Why do they always have to learn the hard way? Anyway, I shall I have a clean house and, for once, I won't have to lift a finger. This is going to be amusing. Smile

You could really rub it in by playing the sound track from the Cinderella movie as he scrubs. lol.

shoot I guessed BM2.... sine she's moving in cause you can't live without her hunting DH constantly.... Wink Wink

but SS would've been my second guess , SS is cleaning the house one day, and gets his PS4 back.... or is the PS4 gone for a month?
I would let him have it back, he will sneak extra time in again, thus your house can be cleaned every second or third day, this sounds like a win win to me....

next time he has to wash curtains and windows as well lol, oh and please remember the rubber gloves for snowflake when he scrubs and cleans with bleach

He'll get it back when he's done with my cleaning list. If he sneaks again, he cleans again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

My guess is I will have a very sparkly clean house going into the New Year.

I had been paying for his online subscription in a 3 month block. Whenever the 3 months is up, there's no bank card on file to renew it. So when he comes to me and announces this, my response shall be "Not my problem, get a job."

He has been given so many chances!

BM2 has crawled back under her bridge. The troll won't show her ugly head again until FIL passes away and her wart filled snout gets the sniff of money.

what if you use the subscription as incentive for better school reports? for every A he gets a month on your account....

Now if I was a SM loving/hating skid I would bankrupt her with full A's and additional subjects }:)

I would not be bothered with |BM2, so what if FIL leaves earth, he's not going to name her in any will, I hope and what will she do, your husband will probably tell her to take a hike, it's got nothing to do with her in any way...

or we will have to work out a plan that she never finds out, or to late.... mmmm

Easy way to stop them from being able to play on the game systems is to just take the power cord.

Then the system can even sit there but it's unusable which I think makes a much stronger point.

Oh and if child tries to go around me by buying a new cord I'd take that one also with the clear threat being if they try to do it again I will simply sell the system completely.
