Prayer Chain

Colorado Girl's picture

We've been down this road before my friends. Please just say a prayer (or whatever it is that you do) for my friend who is more like a father to me than my own.

He has just been diagnosed with Stage III or Stage IV melanoma. Sad After extensive testing, he will know on Monday which one. Stage III is the better prognosis. (Pardon the obvious)

I am a HUGE believer in the power of prayer and positive thinking. Please do this for your ST friend who is praying a lot these days.

The women on this site provide uber intense prayer chains as far as I have seen. I will be thinking of you and yours.

The power of prayer is truly miraculous. I will add you and your family to my prayer intentions.

Okay, I'm an atheist. But your friend is in my thoughts, and so are you. Hugs and strength!

I agree about the power of prayer and will definitely keep you both in mine. I'm sorry you are dealing with so much! Kinda like that saying..."I know God will not give me anything I cannot handle. I just wish he didn't trust me so much!"

I'm so sorry about your friend. I will definitely keep you, him and his family in my thoughts and prayers.

When I was 8, my grandfather passed away of stage IV melanoma. As the oldest grandchild, and having always been extremely close to him, I was heartbroken over what I saw him endure. Melanoma is a beast, and I was a wreck when my parents told me he had passed away. He was a great man. We did so many fun things together. We even had the same favorite flavor of ice cream- coffee!

I'm here if you ever need anything, hugs, a friend to talk to, etc. Even though I don't know your friend, please give him a hug for me and tell him I'm praying for him.

MamaSita suggested a book to me a little over a year ago. Eat,Pray,Love. There was a small part that talked about making the seemingly impossible happen by the power of a lot of people sending positive thoughts.

I pray for my friend with all that I am. He is a good, good man. He has helped me in the past, insisting upon it actually, when I was far too proud to ask for assistance.

Thank you again.
