You will never have your ducks in a row.
OMG, I'm a blog hog now!! I just got an email from the woman who owns the studio where I work out. She is trying to keep us motivated and healthy while the studio is closed for Covid. Anyway she said she hates to hear the phrase, "I need to get my ducks in a row before I...." and then filled in the blank with get healthy, start a business, get a new job or leave a bad relationship. Then she said "you will never have your ducks in a row" and it's procrastination to say this for something we are afraid to do. She is right, it is always something that is holding up back if we let it. So I know I needed to hear this today and I thought maybe someone else might too.

Chmmy
I dont know where the hell my ducks are. let alone in a row but I kicked my DH and sh*tty daughter to the curb. If you need to, or whatever you need done as Nike says "Just Do It"
Just do it, Chmmy. To hell
Just do it, Chmmy. To hell with the ducks!
quack quack quakity quack..
quack quack quakity quack...there you go, I've put a few more in a row for you!
We used to own ducks, they are noisy and poop A LOT!!!! Don't worry about the ducks, they will find bugs in the dirt and some water to splash in all on their own.
It is true, there is never
It is true, there is never the perfect time to do anything, and waiting for the "ducks to get in a row" is just a form of procrastination, for the most part. Sometimes, it's valid, but usually it's just procrastination/fear.
I'm feeling this now with my job. I really want to quit and do my own thing, which I feel I won't push myself to do as long as I'm working this job (which I now really hate). I mean, I haven't so far.
Sometimes, you have to put yourself into a situation that will force you to have to do what it is you really want to do. You just have to do it.
It's hard. It's one thing if I were to get fired or laid off, it's another to choose to quit my job. For something that I don't know will even be successful. And then, what?
