Hi, everyone...I wrote earlier this week about BM calling a hearing over CS issues, again, and we are out of state and could not make it. I recieved alot of very good advice here on what to do, and was in the middle of communicating with the state of FL. trying to request a telephonic hearing, and to petition the court on the long shot of modifying CS. again, when yesterday, my DH got a notice at work that he is now under an income deduction order for the CS $$ , so now BM. will be sure to get a check every week. Now normally, I would be upset and freaking out over this financial hit....but the fact remains that he has to pay CS, no matter what, they are even taking extra to put towards the past due supp. thank god it's not alot, we may try to get that gone as soon as possible. My question, and my hope now is.....would'ent this stop the hearing?? Why should their be one now that BM is GARANTEED to get paid. We were going to file a continuance and everything, but now this should cancel everything. My husband , although upset it has come to this is not going to "skip out" or anything. I'm almost happy not to have to go through the hassel of having my life invaded again by bringing on a petition, and having all of our financial laundry aired infront of BM again. My DH even sent a check this week for CS. as well. I hope this will put a raincloud on BM's hope to see us in court and my DH in jail. I really think this will piss her off that this will resolve itself, It's not enough drama for her, and with no $$ issues to argue about, and to have know "tabs" on what we are doing up here, it just cuts her out of our lives even more. I want to breath a sigh of releif, and just deal with our own financial stuff, and continue to move forward, hopefully??
