A lot of not so nice Mother's day stories have been posted so I thought I would share a cute one. Short but sweet. So yesterday SD and DH are getting ready to leave to drop SD off to BM and she gives me a big hug and says Mother's Day is coming up, want to know what Im going to do for you? I said sure. She says Im going to get up early with Daddy and let you sleep in and we are going to make you scrambled eggs and sausage with toast and bring it to you in bed. Then you can relax all day and watch girly shows while we do the dishes. Made my day! I was like well honey that is really really sweet of you but you will be at your mom's house for Mother's Day. She says well then I will do it for you myself when I come back. She also let me know she was going to do the scrambled eggs for BM too but I thought it was really sweet how she came up with this whole "to-do" for me. BM can try all she wants to make that kid dislike/hate me but thankfully it doesn't do much good!
