Just need to write/vent Not feeling the love

I am feeling so sad! My gay bf was right when he said I was too fabulous to marry. I love my husband but how I wish it was just us two. My advice to women who meet good guys and say they only have the kids every other weekend is no they do not it is a lifetime commitment and you they never go away. Their past lives in their present. I am just fortunate enough to say I did not let my youth go to waste I married at 40 and lived up my single years without a care in the world. Travel, shoes, fine dinning and a fabulous group of friends.

The sds were sent home yesterday but BM decides to return sd15 because of some mischief she got herself into. I come home from the gym ready to shower and enjoy some much needed couple time when "DH" informs me BM is dropping of SD15. Apparently she had called and asked if it was ok and he said yes.Three things have me fuming: 1. he could not tell BM of our plans. 2. Why dont I have a say in this. (this was my place before we got married. he moved in here)3. He says I dont want his daughter here which no I dont but that is what least upsets me.

I just want to thank you all for being so transparent. This site has been a blessing. I am glad to be a part of it before I lost myself in the process of being a stepmom. I have learned today that my needs do not make me selfish and I am not a horrible human being for understanding Cinderella and Snow Whites stepmoms....lol May you all have a fabulous week!! Xo

I feel like an outsider in my own home when sds visit (they are 17 and 15). The place in small but comfortable for DH and I. They visit every other weekend and do stay a couple of nights. They are nice girls but I feel they take ownership of the place even though their father moved in with me and everything here I bought and acquire from my travels. They are just too comfortable in my castle. I have learned to adjust and I tell myself they are only here for a few days and soon one will be off to college.
