My BD8
I just have to thank god for my BD8 every day. She makes my time at home semi tolerable around all of the stress and anxiety. She loves my SO and my SO loves her.
Last night my SO was out running errands when me and my BD8 got home. As soon as we pulled in the drive she asked me is "Laura here" When I said no she was upset. 30 minutes into us being home she comes up and asks "When is Laura gonna be here?" This goes on and on until she comes home.
I wish my relationship was like this with Skids. SO has no idea how good she has it.

That's sweet.
That's sweet.
She does, she has stated that
She does, she has stated that she is going to take care of things tonight when she gets home. I am curious to see how this is gonna go.
So right now I am sitting here with the TV blasting trying to drown our dipshit SS's music on the computer who is 5 feet away.
I loved reading what you
I loved reading what you wrote. My BD is almost 8 as well!! My DD & my DH have an amazing relationship. I love love love watching them do things together. He loves her sooooo much!! She is a great kid (still a kid tho) but we truly dont have any probs with her. Shes pretty easy going, but has the most amazing personality ever, very witty for her age.
I am very envious of the closesness of their relationship. I wish I could have that same kind of relationship with my SS's..but BM will make sure its never allowed..she tells them lies about me, and blatently tells them to disrespect me. She has them sorely trained at their ages of 8,10 & 13. The 8yr old honestly never ever has given me problems..but boy o boy the 10 yr old is very emotional and plays in on the PAS his mom feeds him. I dont think I'll ever be giving a fair chance with My Dh's children.. I have told DH in the recent past, that I wish I could have the same type of relationship he has with my DD, with the SS's... it sucks...
BUT..
My DD lives with us full time, and I love love love the family unit we have here in our home with the three of us. He always wanted a little girl, and she does have a dad that is very involved...but .. my DH sure has a large spot in my daughters heart. She loves him like an 'extra' dad!! They have such a wonderful bond, and they do alot together. He tells me weekly how blessed he feels!! So, I do have it good here with them. Its wonderful to have a hubby that adores my little girl like his own.
