O/T - New Puppy

My screen name may indicate otherwise, but our household has been sadly without a canine for several years since my last girl crossed the rainbow bridge.  It was never quite the right time for a new puppy so we waited.

Well the day has arrived (or will arrive in a few weeks).  We will welcome a new golden retriever puppy shortly after New Year's!!!  We saw her parents and got a peek at her as well.  Love at first sight for both of us.

We are soooo excited!!!

Avid dog lover here! We have three! And I volunteer in rescue! Congrats on the new baby!!! Time to go shopping for toys and bedding!!!

The new puppy will be AWESOME!  Our furry friends are so precious and deflect from the slings and arrows of StepHell.

I did see that movie but didn't remember flerkens.  We have two flerkens that will be extremely unhappy for a bit when little puppy dog arrives.  But, we have a plan for slow introductions so they will adjust Smile

Flerkins ... LOLLOLLOL!!!

PS - early in our dating I had no furbabies, and neither did he.  But if I had - and if I had to choose - then buh-bye pre-DH.  I would have chosen the Flerkens.  I guess you love me, you love my fur babies.  Opposite of steplife, LOL.

No.  But, I have a (sad) Bratty update to post shortly - so stay tuned.  Nothing terrible about her, just a friend of hers died.   Look for the post soon.

So happy for you!!! Congrats!!  I'm also a huge pup lover, with our two Weims.  Golden's are one of my absolute favorite breeds, I just love them so much, maybe one day (but dealing with all the fur omg lol).  

Exciting news for sure.

The waiting is sooo hard.  Fortunatey the breeder is willing to entertain us.  We get to visit her on Sundays!!!  DH is shocked I can stop myself from demanding minute-by-minute updates from the breeder LOL.

Glad you're enjoying your Golden, MissK.  They are amazing dogs.  

I've been without one for too long.  I can't wait!!!!
