Bratty's Post Bacc Conondrum
In addition to Bratty's ongoing caretaking of her uncles, she is now in a panic over her planned return to school in the fall for post bacc 2.0.
She was definitely accepted to a program in the mid-west but decided against that one when Grandma McBratFace kicked Bratty to the curb for her proposed summer visit.
She had applied to programs in NorCal and I was told 'she was accepted to a bunch' but apparently it may be only one that she applied to, and she's still waiting to hear back from them. Apparently she may not hear until August.
She applied to one near us that is her top choice but hasn't heard back from them either (she was supposed to hear this month). Since classes start in mid-August she is freaking out, especially since her sublet expires at the end of July and she has to move somewhere after that.
I told SO it sounded to me like she was waitlisted but who knows.
I love disengagement and not having to deal with Bratty's drama anymore!

Oh boy. What happens if she doesn't find a place to live while she is waiting to hear from the programs and then "decides to wait until next year" and has nowhere to go?

I was wondering if that's why she was speculating to SO about moving in with her uncles to 'help' them!
Either way, she's not coming here. She can rent another room or move in with one of her cousins up there while she looks.

Ah-ha disregard my comment on your last post, this makes sense. It would appear Bratty is laying the ground work for reasons why she needs to stay with her uncle "rent free".

I think it never dawned on her that her applicationsay not work out so she's just now scrambling to come up with a Plan B that saves face for her if she doesn't get in anywhere.
I wonder how long she will
I wonder how long she will keep chasing her dream of being a physician. I can already imagine the future drama when she realizes one day the immense student debt she is going to have to pay back along the likelihood she will never actually finish medical school.
