Evening at BFF's
My bff called with a small computer related emergency today-so I went over there this evening, to see if I could get her going with what she needed. She's so sweet-but totally computer illiterate. I don't pretend to be an expert, but with years of working on the darn things, I can get around on them pretty good.
Anyway, I was telling her about the weekend, how SD17 acted, how H actually kindof acted like a sort of husband. Now she's afraid I'll stay with him...she needn't worry-I went back and read all my blogs-steptalk is a great way to keep a diary, for my eyes only. And realized again how few good moments I've had since I married this man.
But she's got that pilot calling her all the time-he called her 3 times today-to see if I'd kicked H to the curb yet. She says the guy is obsessed with me. Apparently so. He's offering a car for me now-doesn't understand that I have to be independent before I can do anything, and I AM NOT looking for another man to complicate my life. I appreciate you all saying I could do an IOU for the money, consider it a loan, but I'm not that desperate yet. But it's nice to know it's available if things go from bad (current) to worse (had some of those too).
Think H will behave on Christmas, tho. My family will be around, and they're just a driveway away if he tries pulling any of his garbage. Same for SD17. And he knows it.

Sound Like Your Doing Okay.....
It's sounds like you are coping with things alot better at the moment. H maybe realising that you can do heaps better than him and are ready to kick him to the curb.
Stay strong BW, don't forgive him that easy he has a long long long long long long (I don't think I can type enough longs, lol) way to go for your forgivness.
I don't think your that silly anyway.
Great idea to go back and read old blogs on ST, when things are good even for a short moment you forget all the horrible things they do the rest of the time, I've fallen into that trap before. Good way to bring yourself back to the reality.
Does this mean no cabin?
Aw man, I was really hoping he'd do you a favor and take step-brats to the cabin for Christmas and let you enjoy the day with your son and parents *sigh*
And, yeah, what Dani said
You never know, something
You never know, something might have actually clicked with your DH. Maybe not. But I hope for your sake it has! Even if you still want to leave, maybe life will at least be more bearable until you do!
