School started this week for SS13. He's in 8th grade this year and if he stays true to form he will just scrape by with Cs and Ds.

DH is in a sh!tty mood and I think it's because he's not looking forward to another school year of being the enforcer since BM turns a blind eye to SS13's studies. Last year DH was on SS13's butt about grades and SS13 just passed. IMHO I think the teacher's were slack with SS13 so they wouldn't have to deal with him for a second year.

Although this year will be different since we have SS13 almost 50% of the time and SS18 is out of the house. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

DH was trying so hard to pick a fight with me last night. It took everything I had not to take the bait. I will not feed into the drama. DH was radio silent this morning and then sent a short "it's me not you" text. Well duh :? - I was able to figure that out all on my own.

SS18 starts college next week. This kid was born under a lucky star. He's living in a condo that his BFF's parents bought them because BFF's mom thought the dorms wouldn't be a good place to study. :jawdrop: So SS18 is living in a luxury condo with concierge service, pool, sauna and exercise room. R.E.N.T. F.R.E.E. All because BFF's mom adores SS18 and is happy that BFF will have a roommate. DH and I have nicknamed it the "fantasy suite". I don't see much studying in SS18's future.
