My SS (24) is totally worthless. Drugs, alcohol, has a skank junkie of a girlfriend. He works 10-15 hours a week and they live on the floor of someone who has a section 8 apt.

My DH has huge guilt because his second wife (I'm #3) treated this boy like crap when he was 6 years old on. And the father let her get away with murder. Plus his BM was always more interested in where her next "boyfriend" was coming from. She kicked him out at 16 so her ex-junkie BF could move in. He has had a sad life - but I was not part of it. I did not arrive on the scene until years later.
