O/T Thing 1 update

I have decided to look into seeking other avenues, in case nothing is done about Thing 1. She pushed me over the edge last week. I am constantly told to "take the high road" and "keep keeping things professional". I refuse to leave a job that I've had for nearly 10 years (she's only been here 4 years). 4 years too long, if you ask me.

There has to be something legally I can do. I've been told that it's being looked into, but come on...........I am feeling bullied. Any time something comes up that she screwed up, she turns it around so it looks like it's her fault, she communicates with me via email unless she wants to pick a fight. Then she makes sure the boss is gone and comes down to my office to speak to me verbally. I've downloaded a voice recorder on my phone and from now on, I will record ALL of our conversations. So there is no question about what was said.

Every email she sends me, every response, every fumbled ball will be documented. Someone is leaving here, but it won't be me.

In work rank, her position is above mine, but she is not my supervisor, if that makes sense. Usually, she'll come in my office gunning for me about a variety of things. Reports I produce - she nitpicks the entire thing; emails I sent her - she claims she didn't get or see; the list goes on and on. When she does email complaining, she copies everyone in the food chain, just to call attention to the "issue". Our IT guy can't stand her either (she makes his life hell too) and makes her call our outside IT company to fix any and all of her computer issues.

In Ohio, it's a one-party state. As in as long as one party is aware (the recording party counts), it is legal. She brought this fight to my door, literally, and I'm going to finish it.
