SO can be sweet!
Last night after FB practice and trunk or treat I looked at SS's book project due today and realized none of us read it fully and that it was not complete. Most of it was done but there was some minor details with glue and making it look good that were left.
Well I hunted for glue and found some items around the house that would work and SO and I both worked on the last minute details while SS was getting a shower for bed. It was already past his bedtime and getting late. When he got out of the shower he helped us finish it and get it all together. Yes we are bad people for not making him do it, I fully get that but it was late and SO and I both were working on it.
Partly SS's fault not fully reading the directions but when it comes to projects like that kids usually need help and SO and I both did not read it either till the last minute.
Anyway after he went to bed SO came up to me and said "Thank you, I do not know what we would do with out you." There was more about how I make them eat healthy and keep track of things and complete them as a family.
I was like damn right, jokingly I said you would be living peg pen because it would never be clean. LOL.
I found a good man. Things are not perfect but he lets me know he appreciates me and that he is grateful I am there for him and SS. He makes me laugh all the time. Just thought I would share a positive story.

Love it! And glad for you.
Love it! And glad for you. I too found an incredible man who treats me like a Queen. I told him yesterday that he makes it so easy to be in this relationsip with him. The only negative is his 17 yr old daughter. Keep appreciating each other.
I literally would not trade
I literally would not trade my DH for all the money in the world. The man is amazing.
Thanks for this great post, I'm happy for you.
It's nice to be appreciated
It's nice to be appreciated for all that we do. File that away for the days when things don't look so great...lol.
