OT - Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday, STalkers. We're one day closer to the weekend - Memorial Weekend. It's a federal holiday weekend in the U.S. to remember those who died in all America’s wars, as well as those who are Veterans and current members of the US military.

I am thankful for:

  •  Our military. All of you STalkers who served, your spouses, your family members... THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!
  • My DH who has been very understanding and patient with my latest health issue.
  • My family and friends.
  • My job
  • My car repair being 1/4 what I worried it would cost.

So grateful to the men & women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.  Thank you for your service and dedication.

Please pray or meditate or rage at the universe (whatever works for you) about many of our veterans who face deportation right now. We have a very dear friend, DH did one tour in Iraq with him and the friend was deployed FOUR TIMES. He has been living in the US since he was 13. But now he faces deportation. I have been calling his senator, but we are scared. We just found out yesterday.

Beebeel out of the three choices you gave I am raging but not at the universe. How can some people think this is okay? So sorry this is happening to your friend and others. I am thankful that our country has someone who was deployed 4 times and made it back safe. He is a hero and thank him for his service please.

He is an incredible human being and a great single father, and he will forever be traumatized by his time at war for a country that is turning its back on him. And if he's deported? His American born daughter will be ...we dont know yet.
