:jawdrop: Hubby and I are sitting on our respective couches relaxing, watching Seinfield, catching up with each other about our day. He had conference calls on the hour every hour. I worked from home, so I get all the calls. BD woke up in pain...cramps...had her pop some Advil, put the heating pad on her belly, gave her breakfast and sent her to school. A few hours later, the school calls...she's in the nurse's office...more cramps...told the nurse to give her advil and let her rest then send her back to class. Two hours later, I was at the school picking her up...dr.

A Cloud Over A Sunny Day

Yesterday started much like any other day. DH, woke up SD to take her to Temple. I got up with him and we dropped off SD and had a quiet breakfast, just the two of us, to connect for the day. Then we came home and I decided to clean out the master bedroom closet (it had gotten scary in there) DH left shortly there after to pick up SD. Around 12:00 BD called and said she was coming home from dad's. SD was finishing up her homework, BD came home and straightened her hair and applied her make up.

I was exhausted. BD was with her dad, so I thought it was a good time for DH, SS, and SD to have a bonding evening to themselves. So I withdrew to my room and watched Food Network for hours. DH came up with a glass of ice water and a cup of coffee me.

Its been one of those days, I should have pulled the covers back over my head and rolled over. We woke to a snowy morning and cancelled schools...you wouldn't think that would be a bad start to the morning. Hubbie worked from home, was super stressed. BD wandered down the stairs a bit bleery-eyed and went straight to the computer to talk to her friends on Facebook and listen to music on You Tube. I also worked from home, had a somewhat easy morning and planned to spend my afternoon finally putting the Christmas decorations away. But as they say, the best laid plans....
