Long Distance Parenting Schedule Question (long sorry)
Good Morning, I was hoping you guys could help me figure something out. First,I havent been on in awhile (sorry no real reason)but my SS lives 10 hours (one way) away from us. We are objecting the decision allowing him to leave but he's been gone since June 2010 and we are already having a multitude of problems. My question is that we (my DH & I) are interpreting the long distance schedule different from BM and I was going to see what you guys thought.
When to tell SS10 about pregnancy????
Hey ladies, was wondering if you guys had any advice on when to tell SS10 that Im pregnant. DH wants to tell him when we have him next over Labor Day weekend but at that point I will only be about 8 weeks along and am hesitant to tell him in case anything were to happen. This is my first and Im a little scared of having a miscarriage or something going wrong. If we dont tell him then though we wont see him until the end of October and DH doesnt want to wait that long since I should be showing then. He wants to tell him in person and not over the phone or webcam.

Freaking out and need reassurance!
Ok, so I havent been on this site in a long time, mainly due to the fact that everyone kept telling me to leave my then boyfriend. We are now getting married in May so I obviously didnt take any advice (sorry, no offense lol). But now I'm completely panicked and need help. We are dealing with a jealous, psycho ex-wife. (It may help to read my initial blog) We are dealing with an extreme case of PAS, she has completely succeeded in alienating the child from my FH's whole side of the family, as well as him. Weve spent the last 2 years in court fighting custody and visitation issues.

Anyone's DH representing themselves in custody battle?
So my BF is considering representing himself in the current full custody battle that he has going on with BM. They have been in court for over a year, lawyers fees are getting up to about $10,000 not including the GAL fees and now a psych eval that needs to be done. That has a starting retainer of $1800 and "could be more". We can not afford to keep spending this kind of money, especially given the current economy crisis. Has anyone gone this route and had any success with it? We were told that in 90% of cases the judge will use the psych's recommendation.
Newbie here, My story - need some advice!
Ok, I will apologize first off on how long this will probably be but I feel like I need to give some background info so you get the full picture. I've worked for my FH for over 3 yrs now, we have been together for a little over a year. He has been divorced for 5 yrs and has a 9 yr. old son. He has admitted to me that after the divorce he did continue "seeing" the ex up until we got together. So of course she is convinced that I am the reason that they are not a "family" and has FSS convinced of this as well.
