Well, the skids were a (bit) better on their visit (hiiiiiissssssssssssssssss)
SD6 reminds me of BM so much it's scary. I can't hold that against the kid, but this child is beyond lazy, beyond helpless, beyond whiney! for instance, every morning they wake up their chores are to make the bed, get dressed, come to breakfast.
SD4 has ZERO problem with making her bed, most of the time, getting dressed and coming to breakfast.
2 hours till step rats arrive, 48 hours until they leave (rant/vent...dunno)
I remember once DH telling me "why don't you try playing with them, loving them"
why the hell should I put such time and effort into 2 kids that don't listen to me...don't respect me and think they're "we're cute so we can get away with murder" shit will fly with me... give me a fucking break.
These kids are 6&4. I understand 6&4 year olds will be loud and silly and do kid shit, but when the laughing turns into crying, or the giggles turn into fighting and bickering, get me the hell out!
