Ok , So I am new at this blog thing but I need some advice I am a Stepmother and have been since a very young age of 19, and my step son does not like me at all , his mother has brain washed him he tells me I am not his mother and he does not have to listen to me and it has been this way the whole relationship.
I have had my ups and downs dealing with this and at one point it it was a one reason why I divorced my husband (yes we are re-married after two years). Short story his ex has always tried to run my husbands life since the day I meet him, we are court ordered to have him every other weekend once during the week mind you we share this schedule with her mother also who has the same rights as my husband, it also states one picks up one comes and gets..well it has never been that way we were always picking up and dropping off and then when we would get there I would sit in the car for a good 20 min while he was in her house. Know that he is older he does not come over because either is mom will not pick him up or he only wants to stay one day, so my husband left it up to him. Mind you when he comes over I have to be on pins and needles , because if I say something , or look at him wrong he tells his mom and of course she drills him about everything, things we have stupid stuff like that.

So the problem I have is right now is that the ex moved two blocks from my husbands mom and now she is up in our business all the time she, my husband told her she was not welcomed here and and she still has not gotten the hint.

Well she likes to take their son to the dr for every little thing and I mean every little thing (I carry the insurance on him), she has modified the child support twice this year and we are paying 500.00 for one child mind you I have two children with him and got $78, I dont understand, well we are suppose to pay 50% of co-payments and prescp.and we were paying them when he was little , but she has never given us anything since them , well now he is sick and his telling my husband she wants her money now, she never tells us that she is taking him to the dr or anything (she also has insurance on him ) I dont know what to say to my husband.
