I am SO GLAD that in my crazy younger days i didn't marry any of those single women with kids that i often dated.After reading many posts here,I don't think we would have made it.
Not all cases work like this. You are on a Board for VENTING so mostly you'll see the bad stories. Keep reading and you'll see the women here have the issues with the MEN -single or divorced old saps who guilt parent, fail to lead and let kids and ex's run all over them. In other words, they are just as bad with their kids as any single woman you think is bad.
See I read this the other way - I read it as he saw all the problems being a step parent in general and he's glad he didn't marry of single gals with kids or it could have been him in stephell.
Sebringlad has identified himself as being a bio parent... not a step-parent... Eve asked why you were here, and I am interested why you would be on this site, too, if you aren't a step-parent?
If you are judging us without ever having had to deal with step-kids and exes, then I would love to see your library. It must be filled with books you have read by only looking at the covers.
