I want to organize a peaceful demostration
In Canada
Ontario to be exact
Parliament Hill
There needs to be changes to Ontario Family Law
My daughter as the second child does matter and I am tired of being told that she doesn't and we shouldn't have had her if we can't afford her. WTF?
Any Ontarians on here?

I'm from BC and I can tell
I'm from BC and I can tell you that it is the same here. It needs to be a national movement. Divorce laws fall under National laws, the Family Relations Act falls under provincial law. It all sucks.
It the U.S., it's all
It the U.S., it's all politics. It's all about political favors and who owes whom. There have been success stories, but they are few. Not sure how it is in BC, but I know in the United States, our state elections process has a HUGE impact on child support legislation.
vanrocksout , i have read
vanrocksout , i have read some of your other blogs and i'm truly sorry you've had such a hard time in regards to the court and cs when it comes to your daughter.
i am from the states, although i also fear that when me and dh decide to have a kid that there will be court papers flying through the postal system quicker than we can imagine.
the family court system is very f&cked up. it doesn't matter how good a father you are, if you are a man then you get screwed in court. it's a shame that the judges can't see the bigger picture in some situations.
If your demonstration spills
If your demonstration spills over into the states, I'll be sure to join you. It's time for REVOLUTION!
Anyone who has worked in law
Anyone who has worked in law in the U.S. knows the game. It's politics. The lawyers and the judges are buddies. They may look like they hate each other in the courtroom, but it's all a game. The same attorneys that you watch go at it in the courtroom will play golf that afternoon. Your judge likely had lunch with at least one of the attorneys at some point during the week.
And your legislators will not touch laws that don't make them look good to voters. Add to the mix the senators and the lobbyists, and you can see why nothing gets done.
It shocked me at first.
