Pls don't kill me for what I'm going to say. Let's not forget that what we consistly criticize in our mates whether husband, fiance' or boyfriend doesn't reflect well on our decision to have chosen them in the first place and/or our decision to stay with them.

I just feel that many of us on the forum put our mates down to such degree that we forget why we're with them or why we stay with them. They are not perfect and neither are we.

Is it just me or does anyone else find this to be true?

This is not to say that some of these men aren't horrible but come on.

WHY BM AND DH, BF, H WERE MEANT FOR EACH OTHER

Can I just put this out there? We'll have to be real honest with this one.

I see that at least with my H that while he got a divorce and calls her every name in the book - he lasted almost 12 yrs with her eventhough it was off and on. His reasoning the other day to me was "Because of my kids."

Why would you have a second child with a woman you say you can't stand (but you told her you loved her). 12yr and 6yr old.

I just wanted to put it out there. Has anyone noticed that alot of the behavior the DH, BF or H complain about, they have themselves?

DEATH NOTE UPDATE

OK, so it's a week later. SS12 comes this weekend as usual. On Sunday, H had to woop him because of bad mouthing and not wanting to do his homework - that was a welcome change, simply because SS constantly back talks, gives him dirty looks, etc.

H comes to me after and says, "When he's done with his homework talk to him and tell him that I don't like hitting him and tell him that I love him, etc. etc. etc."

SS12 Death Note

Just got a call from BM. She found a death notebook in SS room. In the notebook he wrote down names of people he wants to see dead and how. Wooooow!!!

Researcher me found that there is a fictional thriller book "Death Note" from China. High school student finds this death notebook and learns how to kill people by simply writing the name in a notebook and picturing the face, etc.

BM $20,000 Insurance Charge

OK this is too much - I am outraged.

Just find out that BM not only had DH pay for the birth delivery of the child she had with another man in sept. 2007, after DH and exW separated, he got his own place and she of course had a man waiting in the wind that moved in with her. She got pregnant while still married and again, not only had DH's medical insurance pay for the birth delivery for $5000.00 but also had two separate mystery procedures that total $15,000.00 -- Is that unreal? I can't believe the b@&*$!!!

Need to Track Computer Activity

Good morning everyone, can someone please recommend a computer surveillance software. I found some disturbing searches on my SS12 side that I would like to investigate. I have a sinking feeling that he was molested because he has some classic signs of it but I can't go to H without concrete evidence (see previous post) and really feel SS needs counseling as well as anger management counseling. Pls advise.

SS12 - Weak Night Bladder

Ok, I am both sympathetic and annoyed about this.

Just this weekend SS12 peed his bed twice. Some weekends he does and some weekends he doesn't. When I first questioned my husband (many months ago) about this he said his ex-w took ss to a doctor a few years ago and the dr. said he would grow out of it. Well here we are at pre-teen and he hasn't grown out of it yet.

Of course, I have to deal with the stench of urine and ss puts peed clothes and linens in a bag for rush laundry duty -- which he doesn't do.

Inquiry - Age Child Can Choose Parent...

...to live with. Hi, everyone, I live in New York and was wondering if anyone knows the age a child can choose to live with divorced parent. My H is under the impression that SS12 can now choose to live with us. Of course this all stemmed from SS calling H after work yesterday asking if he can spend the night and do his project. (I was furious.) SS has a home computer and a library by him. 1st of all we have him every weekend until monday morning - that's 3 nights - and every major holiday.
