SERIOUSLY??

This site is for people to come and vent. I understand that people look for advice or for people who share similar stories but they aren't looking for judgement. I mean seriously. Nobody has any idea what anybody else goes through on a regular basis. Just because something works in your home or because you don't AGREE with it doesn't make you right. Everyones situation is different and people do what works best in THEIR home. I do things that i am sure people would cringe at but who the hell cares. Do you live in my house?? Do you deal with the ignorant vendictive Skids that I do? No!! So what makes you a better judge of whats good and whats not?? Spend a week in someone elses house and then you tell me that what works best for you is what should be best for everyone. You don't think that these people feel bad enough for some of the things they already feel? You think by telling them that they have no right to do something or that what they are doing is wrong, helps?? Seriously people if we wanted judgement we would just have to ask our wonderful, oh so loving SKids...they would be more then willing to give us their opinion..we don't need YOURS!!

I read over other peoples blogs and am so appalled that people think they have a right to tell others that they can't do what they are doing. They aren't breaking the law or harming the child. I don't know about others but i sit on judgement everyday. if its not my Skids, its my husband. If its not him, its his family. I mean REALLY?? I don't need people who think they know whats best telling me what I should or shouldn't do. I do what works in my house and maybe if other people enoforced some of my rules then it would make things easier for them. But I am not going to judge somebody else when I know nothing of their situation. Being a step parent is probably the hardest thing I have ever done and I will do whatever is going to make life easier for those involved.

Oh come on now...I get worse then that from my kids. I was not DIRECTING this to anyone or ABOUT anyone. People have enough shit to deal with in their lives, if you can't be supportive then why say anything. I just don't get the lack of understanding. And how, by the way does that make me holier then thou?? please elaborate. Trying to be understanding of anothers feelings? Well if thats the case, then I guess I am Wink
